CSV to Anki converter

Have your flashcards in a spreadsheet? Export the sheet as CSV, paste it here (or drop the file), map the front and back columns, and download an Anki .apkg deck — free, no login, entirely in your browser. The parser understands quoted fields and commas inside cells, lets you skip a header row, and turns each line into one card. Ideal for vocabulary tables, definition lists and anything you already track in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.

Example CSV (first row is a header)

front,back
What is the capital of France?,Paris
In what year did World War II end?,1945
What is the chemical symbol for gold?,Au

Paste or drop your CSV, map the columns, and download an .apkg deck — free.

Frequently asked questions

Which columns become the front and back?
You choose. After pasting the CSV you pick the front column and the back column from a dropdown, and can tell the parser whether the first row is a header so it isn’t turned into a card.
Does it handle commas inside a field?
Yes. Fields wrapped in quotes are parsed correctly, so a definition that itself contains a comma stays in one cell instead of splitting into extra columns.
Where does my spreadsheet data go?
Nowhere. Parsing and .apkg packaging happen on your device — the file is never uploaded, which keeps private or graded material off any server.
