Move your Quizlet sets in minutes
Quizlet lets you export any of your own sets as plain text — and StudyCards reads that format directly. No file juggling, no re-typing.
- In Quizlet, open your set and choose Export, then copy the text.
- Create a free StudyCards account and use Import → Quizlet in your deck — just paste; separators are detected automatically.
- Prefer Anki, or want to try without an account? Paste the same export into our free Anki converter — it builds an .apkg file, or keeps your cards as a draft that follows you into signup.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I move my Quizlet sets to StudyCards?
- Export your set as text in Quizlet (open the set → Export → copy), then paste it into StudyCards’ Quizlet import after creating a free account. Tab/comma and newline/semicolon separators are detected automatically, and everything is parsed in your browser.
- Is StudyCards really free — what’s the catch?
- The free plan includes 10 decks and 1,000 cards, with no ads and no credit card. AI card generation is unlimited because you bring your own Claude (a free claude.ai account is enough) — we never pay for AI, so we never have to meter you. Paid plans only add storage and higher limits.
- Does StudyCards show ads?
- No. There are no ads on any plan, free included. The product is funded by paid storage plans, not by advertising.
- Can I try it without creating an account?
- Yes — the free tools need no login: paste your Quizlet export into the Anki converter to download an .apkg file, or keep the converted cards as a local draft and claim them when you sign up.
